K. Bjorklund has been writing about politics, government and how they impact our lives for more than a decade. Her passion for and commitment to human rights are rooted in her upbringing in the Midwest where she frequently heard her mentor say:
“I dare to imagine a country where every child I hold in my hands, regardless of the color of their skin, regardless of whether they’re boy or girl, regardless of religion, regardless of rich or poor, that every child I hold in my hands, will have the same chance to reach her full potential or his full potential.”
It is in this spirit that she writes Free For All blog.
She has lived in San Francisco, Washington DC and Europe but still calls Minnesota home. Right now she’s reading The Bookseller of Kabul and testing new soup recipes to stay warm this winter. Please feel free to say hello, share your thoughts on human rights or send a recipe at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
